I’ve curated a mix of uni-sex luxury beauty and fragrance options that will satisfy the most challenging of personalities. For the Fragrance enthusiasts I included two new launches this year: Acne Studios by Frederic Malle & Christian Dior’s New Look. Both are covetable and definite winners in the unisex category. CHANEL’s has added new scents to their L’Huile line of Body Oils that align with with their Exclusif fragrances.
Lastly, if you’re out to impress the person who is looking for skincare that is close to “botox in a bottle:” CHANEL Beauty’s Sublimage has added two new products to their outstanding , anti-aging skincare collection.
Acqua Di Parma Sandalo
Acqua Di Parma Sandalo and iconic Italian fragrance, created as a uni-sex Fragrance. When applied my first impression is it borders masculine and with a slight mysterious feminine accord. It’s an alluring, strong yet condensed olfactory. Initially when sprayed it’s dignified sandalwood dominates, while the layers of lavender, tonic bean, citrus , and cardamom unfold. I’d recommend this to a stoic, sophisticated personality. Whether it be the man or woman receiving it’s a fragrance that will sublimely enhance their strong personality.

Christian Dior New Look
The award winning iconic perfumer Francis Kurkdjian’s latest addition to Christian Dior’s Collection Privee; New Look eau de parfum ia meant to represent a modern path of the true spirit of Haute Couture. It’s a balance of otherworldly meets old world elegance.

ACNE STUDIOS by Frederic Malle
Acne Studios launches their first fragrance via Frederic Malle of Editions de Parfums. The nose behind this new unisex scent; Suzy Le Helley is very new to the prestigious niche of Fragrance creation, she has been praised as this is the biggest launch of her career.
She was trained by great perfumers, Frederic Malle chose her to create this new audacious fragrance.
The fragrance itself is an unforgettable sensory experience when applied, comforting like a cashmere scarf and bold like wearing head to toe Acne Studios.
This unique fragrance is a delicate balance of mesmerizing aldehydes/ synthetic notes which release a fresh almost soapy scent balanced by florals (rose, violet, & orange blossom). Then the layers of gourmand touches of vanilla and peach pop then finally grounded by notes of sandalwood, white musk, and Frankincense.

CHANEL Coromandel L’Huile
Body oil scented with one of CHANEL’s best fragrances from their exclusif collection of Parfums launched recently: Coromandel L’Huile. I am a personal fan of this fragrance and constantly receive compliments when I wear it. Gifting body oil with such an exquisite scent is a ideal unisex gift for the person who doesn’t wear fragrance instead prefers the scent of their luxury body care. An intense, rich amber composition with notes of patchouli, frankincense, and benzoin. It’s a warm and enveloping body oil, which deeply moisturizes while its longevity of the Fragrance lasts several hours. It’s ideal for after bathing and or massage. The orginal CHANEL L’huile were created by Coco to use at The Ritz Hotel Paris spa while she resided there. The oil texture is silky smooth, easily absorbed while softening the skin. For an intense fragrance effect this luxurious body oil can be layered with the Coromandel parfum.

This yields CHANEL’s patented extract that offers extraordinary skin repair. This precious botanical treasure is a complex restorative , rejuvenating key ingredient in both the L’Extrait and L’Extrait de Creme. The anti-aging effect is both gentle and long lasting.
L’Extrait Intensive Repair Oil Concentrate is a complex, light weight, slightly moisturizing gel like texture absorbs quickly into the skin. A little goes a long way, as this extract delivers reparative, rejuvenating for radiant skin. A perfect first layer to use before you apply the L’Extrait de Creme.

Unlike their other skincare products this creme specifically is best for an over 35 year old. The Vanilla Planifolia plant is exclusively cultivated and harvested at peak times for its leaves, flower, and fruit at CHANEL’s open-sky laboratory in Madagascar. The Swertia and Vanilla plganifolia target the threes stages of skin senescence. Which limits the spread of cells that cause aging while promoting cell rengeration and overall skin repair. The texture of the cream is rich, and a very little goes a long way, I highly recommend pairing it with the L’Extrait for optimal results.
Rose Oud by Kilian Eau de Parfum
The new version of Rose Oud launched in 2022 by perfumer Calice Becker. The new version is highlighted floral and part of the Kilian Paris narcotics fragrance olfactive family. I love its sensual and luxurious burning blend of roses; Bulgarian & rose absolute while it’s also sultry and woody, and I would highly suggest as uni-sex fragrance gift.
This type of fragrance is probably most appreciated by the quieter but intellectual personality, as it is a deeper and more complex scent.
On my first spray of this stunning fragrance I immediately was drawn to deep rose absolute with a tinge of greenery, while the Bulgarian rose lead to the layers of saffron, cinnamon, lychee, cedarwood, Cypriol, Oud, and leather.
The lasting power of this scent is at least eight hours. It’s a luscious and almost addictive quality accord that works for all occasions, not too strong to wear to work and not too light to entice after-hours. Definitely one of the best Rose-Ouds on the market.
