SEPTEMBER HOROSCOPE

Transformation was always meant to be the key theme for 2020. It is not the easiest, but we can rest assured that it is well worth it. During August, the stars set up the stage for the year’s close. For September, we will begin to see things rising to a new level we had not seen before. With Mars in its home sign of Aries going retrograde on September 9th, our sense of motivation might dampen, and we begin an important journey of introspective self-undoing. This month is an opportunity for one final energetic clearing, getting rid of things that have outlived their purpose in our lives and preparing ourselves to climb the next mountain in our evolutionary path.
The month begins with a lovely Full Moon in Pisces, creating a bridge with the Sun in Virgo. In multidimensional astrology, Pisces is the sign of boundless and unconditional love. No matter what challenges life is currently throwing at us, it is extremely important to maintain an open heart. Under the murky Piscean waters, we are able to see the beauty behind our circumstances, understanding that these challenges are an opportunity for expansion. This is the time to surrender any need for control in our lives. In this way, with trust and faith in the Universe, we find ourselves navigating its waters with ease and gusto.
On the 4th, Venus in sensitive Cancer creates a stepping stone with fiery Mars in Aries. This is an important activation point prior to the upcoming Mars retrograde. Our Hearts questions where we are placing our effort and actions towards. Are we working on that dream we truly desire? Venus asks us to go deep within ourselves and figure out where our intentions lie according to our actions. The timing could not be better, as Mars’ retrograde station gives us the chance to shift our plan of action.
The month’s intensity amps up on the 9th, as Mars (planet of drive and action) stations to go retrograde at 28° Aries. Mars’ upcoming retrograde journey slows us down and shifts all energies inward. This will be a time when we start seeing the results of any action we have been taking since August. It is important to note that throughout this period, Mars will make tough stepping stones with the year’s biggest players: Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto. This is bound to be a wild ride! Not really knowing what to expect, we must accept what unfolds in front of us with our highest wisdom. When we are tempted to “try harder” this month, it will be best to try easier. Any overdoing of control and fear would wrongly manifest what we do not want.
But not to worry! The Universe has our backs and the stars are offering a silver lining to all these upcoming harsh aspects. On the same day, the Sun in Virgo creates a wonderful trine to Jupiter in Capricorn. We are beginning to shine light on our renewed sense of consciousness, and we become aware of the new world that is emerging right in front of us.
The planet of expansion and creativity, Jupiter, has been retrograde since May, since then asking us to question where we have failed to apply our higher wisdom and how we connect better with others socially. On the 12th, Jupiter finally stations to go direct. We feel a huge sense of relief and we can feel our creativity oozing out of our pores. What house is Capricorn in your chart? We have a wonderful New Moon in Virgo on the 17th, bringing fresh waves of healing energy and a strong promise of new beginnings. The New Moon creates a strange t-square to the North and South Nodes, putting the energy of our Divine Femenine right at the intersection between the past and future. This lunation cycle invites us to reconnect with the power of our mind and our bodies. This is the time to start living without fear, and trust in the power we all hold within.
The Fall Equinox takes place on the 22nd, marking the ingress of the Sun into Libra and impacting everyone on Earth. During times that seem to be so polarizing, Libra energy pushes us to see the unity behind everything. By shifting our focus to all our relationships (other people, ideas, ourselves), we realize how we are all connected and working towards the highest possible realization of our experience on this planet. Libra season is bound to bring important realizations of where we have disregarded balance in the past. This will be a season of higher consciousness and accountability, building upon our new structures.
Finally, Saturn completes his retrograde journey on the 29th – stationing to go direct at 25° Capricorn. For the past four and a half months, we have been carefully evaluating the different structures in our lives, and the kind of authority we are willing to accept. The time of introspection is over, and we move forward full steam ahead to build the new structures with transparency, authenticity, and fairness as their foundation.
The energies of September amp up the ones from the beginning of 2020, and it can get increasingly challenging to find neutral ground. Ironically, this is exactly what we must do. Mars takes the center stage of the month, and will be asking us to slow down and act only when it comes from a place of higher purpose and intention. It might be hard to make sense of what will happen during this period of time, but when we stand still with open hearts, we are able to see from a higher perspective that every confusing event reveals a beautiful new awakening.
